A driver has been caught showing his middle finger to a speed camera while driving over the speed limit on Kings Road in Nakasi.

The incident happened on Tuesday.

The Land Transport Authority says speed cameras on our roads are also capturing vehicle irregularities and violation of road rules.

The speed camera in Nakasi captured the vehicle which was speeding and also had no front number plate.

The LTA says the speed camera, with the use of new technology can detect multiple traffic infringements on our roads and this includes vehicle speed limits, vehicle registration number and identity, illegal vehicle and modification and tinting.

The LTA is now looking into the issue where the motorist had no front number plate and the driver had also made an obscene gesture.
