Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings has justified the selection of former captain Paula Dranisinukula in the Commonwealth Games squad.
Gollings spoke highly of Dranisinukula saying he comes into the team with a lot of leadership experience.
He says apart from the Commonwealth Games, Dranisinukula has put his hand up for the LA 7s and the World Cup 7s.
The team will depart on Saturday for a pre-camp in England where they will have warm up matches with Jamaica, China and the British Army 7s.
The Commonwealth Games 7s competition will take place from 30th July to 1st August.
