Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete together with the Minister for Infrastructure Jone Usamate and Minister for Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu today inspected some of the Cyclone rehabilitation supplies that Fijian Government and other development partners have prepared for Tropical Cyclone Harold relief.

The trio was also part of the Fijian Government delegation receiving relief supplies from New Zealand and Australia to assist those affected by the recent Severe TC Harold and response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Minister Seruiratu says, the ongoing support from the two neighbouring countries outlines the Vuvale Partnership that have seen collaborations in previous response efforts to assist each other.

Meanwhile the National Disaster Management Office continues to receive support from donors and partners.

NDMO also received 5,042 cooking stoves from Kasabias, $2000 worth of Kerosene from Total Fiji, 100 family kits from the French Government and FJD $10,000 from Bred Bank Fiji for immediate response.
