Dr. Raijeli Taga has been appointed as the new Permanent Secretary for Lands and Mineral Resources.

The Public Service Commission, with the agreement of the Prime Minister, has appointed Dr. Raijeli Taga as the new Permanent Secretary for Lands and Mineral Resources.

PSC Chairman Vishnu Mohan after a wide search of both internal and external candidates, Dr. Taga stood out in her service as the Deputy Secretary for the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources, making her a natural fit for this promotion.

Dr. Taga received her Ph.D. in Mining Engineering in the Field of Environment Toxicology at the University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

She previously served on the Board of Directors for Investment Fiji.
