At least 63 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza yesterday, according to medical sources in the besieged enclave, including at least 21 people in a strike on a house in central Gaza’s Nuseirat camp.

Gaza’s civil defence agency reports that a “series of air strikes” around the besieged Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north have also killed at least 29 people.

Israel has denied targeting or entering the Kamal Adwan Hospital and said that it only attacked the area around or “adjacent” to the facility.

The Israel Broadcasting Authority reports that a Hamas official says international mediators resumed negotiations with the group and Israel over a Gaza ceasefire, but Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has not yet agreed to send a delegation, noting the framework being discussed is “preliminary”.

A German Federal Foreign Office spokesman has told reporters that Berlin rejects Amnesty International’s report accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.

Israel’s violations of a fragile US-backed ceasefire in Lebanon continue, including near the town of Bint Jbeil, where five people have been wounded in an Israeli strike.
