Domo Vou Talei winners SSN planning to invest back into their music

Domo Vou Talei winners Six Seven Nine (SSN) say they are planning on investing their winnings back into their music.

Six Seven Nine scooped the top prizes for the Domo Vou Talei at Uprising Music Festival walking away with $3,000 for the Fiji Times People's Choice awards and the Westpac grand prize of $5,000.

Natabua High School students Jalesi and Akuila of Six Siven Nine say they are planning on investing in some equipment for their music while they will share some of the winnings between them and their producer.

Jalesi says their parents and friends also came to support their performance from Lautoka.

Meanwhile, Kinghitmiss walked away with the Kaila best performance award and $1,000.

Still to come this evening at 7.10pm is InsideOut while Jah Boy will take the stage at 8.20pm.

The Gang will be on at 9.40pm and Mr Grin, Drixstar, and Wilo will jump on at 10.45pm with DJ Christonite closing things down from 11.45pm till 1am.
