It will be a do-or-die match for the Marist Brothers High School and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School under-18 rugby teams as they battle for the 3rd place position in the Vodafone Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union competition this weekend, and book a place in the Vodafone Super Deans National quarter finals.

Suva Grammar School and Nasinu Secondary School have qualified for the national quarter finals as the top 2 teams from the Southern Zone, and the winner from the Marist versus MGM match will qualify as the third best team.

Marist and MGM have both suffered a loss each against Nasinu during the round-robin competition.

MGM secured a close win against Grammar last week and will be hoping to back that up this weekend.

Marist will play MGM at 2.50pm Saturday at the Buckhurst Park ground in Suva.

Meanwhile, in other Southern Zone under 18 matches this week, Nasinu will take on Grammar while Ratu Simione Matanitobua College will face Lomary Secondary School.
