In a sense of unity, three villages in the District of Naqarawai in Namosi have banded together to assist a teacher at the Naqarawai SDA Primary School who lost everything they had in a fire that occurred on Sunday.

A villager from Naqarawai Village told fijivillage News this morning, that fortunately none of the family members were hurt.

He says the teacher’s family went to their farm when the fire started and they could not save anything but the clothes that they were wearing.

The villager says the three villages including Naraiyawa, Wainimakutu and Naqarawai have come together and donated clothes and food to the family.

The villager adds that the family is now living at another vacant teacher’s quarters.

They are also pleading for assistance from the public and if you want to assist this family during their times of need, you can your donation through MPAiSA on 2786677 or 2312055.

The National Fire Authority says they did not receive any reports of a fire at the Naqarawai SDA Primary School.
