Dismembered body of a newborn baby discovered in Tamavua

Police are currently investigating the discovery of the dismembered body of a newborn baby in Tamavua yesterday afternoon.

Police say the body was discovered by a 38-year-old woman.

They say investigations are at the initial stages, and the victim’s alleged mother has been identified and is receiving medical treatment.

Investigations continue.
