The Director of CID and a team from the CID Headquarters and Forensic Headquarters are currently in Sigatoka to oversee the investigation in relation to the body find of a couple yesterday.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says investigators continue to gather statements and information regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident.
She says once the post mortem is conducted then they will be in a better position to comment further.
The bodies of the elderly couple was discovered by their caretaker in Korokoro yesterday.
