The Digicel Premier League is set to resume from next Sunday.

Fiji FA Competitions Manager, Amitesh Pal says they have given teams three weeks to prepare and have also conducted educational sessions with them in regards to the return to play awareness and preparedness protocols.

Pal says the only issue was the quarantine restrictions still in place for Vanua Levu travel and they will have to reschedule all Labasa games.

In next week’s matches, Navua will host Nadroga at the Uprising Sports Centre, Rewa will take on Nadi at Prince Charles Park while Suva hosts Ba at the ANZ National Stadium.

All matches will kick off at 3pm.

The Lautoka soccer team is currently leading the points table with 13 points while Rewa is second with 11 points.

All teams have played 6 matches each.
