Tailevu Naitasiri Assistant Coach Priyant Mannu says they are working on fast-paced counter attacking football and this was one of the reasons the team beat Nadi 3-0 on Sunday.

Mannu says they last played in the Premier Division in 2015 and the players were eager to show their skills and were determined to make a statement of intent.

He also acknowledged the presence of new signings like Simione Tamanisau and Usaia Tadu as they guided the group throughout training and preparation for the game.

Midfielder Abhishek Deo, who scored against Nadi, says their target is to stay in the Premier Division for the next season.

The side will play Nasinu at Suva’s ANZ Stadium this Sunday at 1pm.

In other Digicel Premier League matches this weekend, Rewa plays Labasa at Subrail Park on Saturday at 1pm, while at Churchill Park on Sunday, Nadi plays Nadroga at 12pm, Lautoka plays Navua at 2pm while Ba and Suva clash at 4pm.
