Defending FIFA Women’s World Cup champions USA have secured their place in the knockout stage after a nil-all draw against Portugal last night in Auckland.
USA were relieved after the final whistle as the points were enough to take them through as the runners-up of Group E.
Meanwhile, the group leaders Netherlands thrashed Vietnam 7-nil.
USA will face Group G winners and Netherlands will play Group G runners-up next Sunday.
In other matches, England thrashed China 6-1 while Denmark defeated Haiti 2-nil.
