Deeply humbled and grateful – VC Ahluwalia

USP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Pal Ahluwalia says he and his wife Sandra Price are profoundly humbled and grateful at the news that they are free to return to Fiji.

Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka has stated that his government would bring an end to the injustices suffered by Professor Ahluwalia, and Dr Padma Lal, widow of the late Professor Brij Lal stated that they were free to return to Fiji.

While responding to the news, Professor Ahluwalia says they are grateful to the Lord, and to Rabuka.

He says their students and staff have relentlessly fought for USP.

The Vice-Chancellor adds they will continue to serve and ensure that the work of shaping Pacific futures endures.
