The Lami High School under 19 side has continued its dream run in the Vodafone Super Deans Competition after beating Ratu Navula College 13-10 in the semi final today to book their place in the final next week.

It was a tightly contested match as Lami took a slight 3-0 lead at halftime.

Ratu Navula came back and locked the score at 3-all with a penalty kick in the second spell before Lami regained the lead with another penalty kick at goal.

Ratu Navula scored a converted try with 5 minutes left on the clock to take a 10-6 lead before Lami scored a converted try at the stroke of full time to claim the win.

Team manager Adelina Rogocala attributed the win to the Lord Almighty whom she said was the main pillar of their strength.

Rogocala says they are adamant of creating history this year and winning the title.

She says QVS will not be an easy team but they believe that nothing is impossible.

Meanwhile, in the second semi final, QVS held Naitasiri Secondary School to a 24-all score line at full time but QVS was awarded the win as they scored the most number of tries.

QVS to play Lami High in the final.
