Natabua High School U18 Captain and flyhalf Suliasi Totoko led from the front as he kicked the winning penalty at the stroke of full time to claim a 20-17 win over Marist Brothers' High School in the third quarter final of the Vodafone Super Deans this afternoon.

Totoko scored a total of 10 points off his boots with 2 conversions and 2 penalties.

The Lomolomo, Vuda young man says he felt a lot of emotions before and after taking the kick but he credited the Lord Almighty for giving him the strength to overcome the pressure and slot the kick over.

Totoko says they came into this match well prepared knowing the threats that Marist brought with them.

He says they are proud of their performance and will now turn their focus to next week's semi finals.

Natabua drew first blood with a converted try to Sairusi Seru in the 10th minute before Totoko extended their lead to 10-0 with a penalty.

Marist replied with a converted try to lock forward Viliame Elo just before the break as they trailed 10-7 at halftime.

Natabua started the second half strongly with another converted try to Ropate Varani to extend their lead to 17-7, before Marist's Ase Fuli replied with a penalty to close the gap to 17-10.

Semi Kamikamica scored a converted try for Marist in the 69th minute to level the game, before Totoko nailed the final kick of the game after the siren to clinch the win.

In other U18 quarter finals played, RKS defeated Cuvu College 34-7, and Suva Grammar defeated Lelean 27-24.

The last quarter final between QVS and Nasinu Secondary School is currently underway.
