Day 2 of the Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s is set to kick off today and it is expected to provide fans and supporters with a more thrilling display of rugby from all teams participating.

Competition is also expected to move up another notch after some of the results from day 1 of the tournament yesterday were surprising as some top teams survived scares from underdog teams and also a few upsets caused.

Teams like defending champion Wardens Gold, Police Blue and BLK Lavidi Brothers survived a few surprises yesterday from their respective pools, while First Capital Brothers caused the major upset of the tournament by beating Army Red.

The Fiji Babas side had a smooth sail in their first two pool matches yesterday securing comfortable wins over Police Levuka and Flame Tree Colo-i-Suva.

Today will see teams rounding up their final pool matches with the elimination rounds to be played as well.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow with the quarter finals, semi finals and final.
