The preparation for the 2024 Coca-Cola Games has received a major boost after Damodar Group of Companies announced a $15,000 sponsorship today.

Chief Executive Officer of Damodar Group of Companies, Div Damodar says this is another great year where Damodar Group is proud to be part of the Games.

He says this is a national event in which every secondary School takes part.

Damodar says over the years, they have dedicated themselves to being part of sporting activities in the country, and this is another chance for them to be part of a community event.

He adds they are hoping to expand their sponsorship in the future.

Fiji Secondary School Amateur Athletics Association General Secretary Biu Colati acknowledged the sponsorship, saying that it will enable them to properly care for over 2,800 athletes, who will participate in the 3-day event.

Sponsors Coordinator for the Coca-Cola Games, Lawrence Tikaram is urging supporters and fans to come down in numbers to support their schools as this is an event that stops the nation.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held from Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
