The Dakuibeqa Women's Club in Beqa Island can now earn an income by selling bread in the village and other nearby villages.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Naina Liku says this funding was fulfilled through the aid given by the Baking Industry Training Fiji in providing them with solar energy bakery.

Liku says they were also trained on how to bake and they were taught more than 10 recipes by the trainer.

She further says now their business is rolling and money is in rotation within their women's club.

Liku is encouraging not only other women's clubs but all iTaukei villages to come up with some innovative ideas to create a change in their communities.
