Australian based DJ Peter Gunz will be performing live at the Stir It Up Festival this afternoon and is excited to be back in Fiji entertaining people.

DJ Peter Gunz says he has been to Fiji more than once as his wife is Fijian and grew up here.

He adds he was interested in watching all the DJs and learning from them and that was the aspect of music which got him into the music industry.

He says DJ-ing has been his passion but it has shifted at the moment into events like running festivals.

DJ Peter Gunz says there is a big gap in the market in Australia and New Zealand to cater for the South Pacific communities during festivals which is why they cross over to the Afro-beat.

He adds that is why they have teamed up with Adina and her crew since our people enjoy afro-beat music as well.

He encourages the young upcoming DJs to master their craft and have respect and integrity for the pacific communities and everyone else.

DJ Peter Gunz, has worked with numerous artists in the music industry such as Snoop Dogg, The Game, Nelly, Akon, Ice Cube, DMX, Neyo, Trey Songs, Tyga, Ty Dollar Sign, YG, common kings, George Fiji Veikoso and Spawnbreezie
