Crusaders welcome back Jack Goodhue for Rebels clash

All Blacks centre Jack Goodhue will make his long awaited return for the Crusaders against the Rebels this Sunday after being sidelined for a year with a knee injury.

George Bower will start at prop while Sevu Reece has been named on the wing.

Cody Taylor will captain the side in the absence of the suspended Scott Barrett.

Richie Mo'unga, Braydon Ennor, George Bridge, Sam Whitelock and Pablo Matera have also been named to start.

The Crusaders play the Rebels at 6.30pm Sunday.

In other matches this week, the Chiefs play the Waratahs at 8pm Friday, the Blues play the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua at 7.05pm Saturday, the Hurricanes take on the Reds at 9.45pm Saturday while the Highlanders take on the Brumbies at 4pm on Sunday.
