The Crusaders are heading into today’s round 8 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua with the hope of righting a few wrongs and putting pride back into their jersey.

Following their loss to Moana Pasifika last weekend, Captain Codie Taylor says they have not been unlucky, but they just have not performed.

Taylor, who last played in Fiji 7 years ago, says the Drua have obviously played really well and there is no hiding from the fact that they are a different team when they play at home, and they have proved that with the amount of success that they have had in Fiji.

He says it is very important that they get a win today as it will impact their position in the Super Rugby Pacific table.

The Crusaders will be trying to break their losing streak to the Fijian Drua in Fiji today as they have lost their previous two encounters against the Drua in Lautoka.

This will also be the first time that the Drua will host the Crusaders at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The Drua will take on the Crusaders at 3.35pm.

Meanwhile, a moment of silence will be observed before this match kicks off to remember VITIFM’s iconic personality, Maikeli Radua, who has been laid to rest today in his village in Waikete, Tailevu.

In other matches today, Moana Pasifika will take on the Waratahs at 1.05pm, the Blues will play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm and the Force will host the Highlanders at 8.35pm.

The Chiefs defeated the Reds 27-15 last night.
