Crusaders to play Blues and Chiefs to host Brumbies in Super Rugby Pacific semi finals

The 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific semi finals have been confirmed with Crusaders hosting the Blues, while the Chiefs will take on the Brumbies following dramatic finishes to the two playoff matches last night.

The Blues scored a last-minute try to claim a 20-19 win over the Chiefs after trailing throughout the game, while the Brumbies held off a strong challenge from the Hurricanes in the dying stages of the game to claim a 35-28 win at home.

Despite their stunning loss, the Chiefs still made it through to the semi finals as the lucky loser.

The Brumbies’ win has seen them become the only Australian team making it into the semi finals this year and also hoping to be the first Australian team to win a knock-out game in NZ in almost 30 years.

The first semi final will see the Crusaders playing the Blues at 7.05pm Friday in Christchurch, and the Chiefs will take on the Brumbies at 7.05pm Saturday in Hamilton.
