The Crusaders have booked their place in the semi finals of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific after a remarkable 32-12 win over the Reds last night in Christchurch.
Flyhalf Rivez Reihana played a man-of-the-match performance last night as he scored 12 points, including a try, to help the home side secure the win.
The win is also the Crusaders’ 30th finals win in 30 finals games played on their home soil.
The Crusaders held a 12-0 lead at the break after two tries from Scott Barrett and Tamaiti Williams, with Reihana adding one conversion.
The home side extended their lead to 27-0 in the second half with a converted try to Noah Hotham and a penalty kick to Reihana followed by an unconverted try.
The Reds managed to pull back two tries through Josh Nasser and Fraser McReight and a conversion to Filipo Daugunu, but the Crusaders put the final nail to the coffin with an unconverted try at the stroke of fulltime to replacement halfback Kyle Preston.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs will take on the Blues at 7.05pm tonight and the Brumbies will play the Hurricanes at 9.35pm tonight.
