Defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific champion the Crusaders have climbed up to 8th place in the Super Rugby Pacific points table following their 43-10 thrashing of Moana Pasifika last night and will now hope that results from today’s matches will favour them in securing a place in the quarter finals.

The Crusaders put on a classic performance in front of their home fans last night in their last home game of the season scoring 7 tries to Moana Pasifika’s 1 try.

The win saw them claim 5 points and overtake the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua who have slipped to 9th place now.

The Crusaders will be banking on the Rebels and the Brumbies to do them a huge favour today by beating the Drua and the Western Force respectively.

The Drua on the other hand will be out to claim a win today to regain their place in the top 8 and bundle the Crusaders out of the competition.

The Drua will take on the Rebels at 2.05pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

In other matches today, the Hurricanes will take on the Highlanders at 4.35pm, the Blues will play the Chiefs at 7.05pm, and the Force will host the Brumbies at 9.35pm.
