Crusaders coach Rob Penny describes this weekend’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific final as a magical moment, as they will be playing in front of their home crowd.
After an impressive turnaround this year following their devastating season last year, Penny says history is history, and it is what it is.
He says they are not even thinking about last season, they are just thinking about the contest ahead of them which is really exciting.
Penny has made only one change to his match day 23 squad with the return of All Blacks prop Tamaiti Williams into the starting lineup, moving George Bower to the bench.
Penny says Williams is ready to go, he was on the cusp of being ready last week but it is the blessing of having a great squad.
He says Bower has done an amazing job and he is unlucky not to be starting, but Williams has got himself back into selection and he’s going to get the opportunity.
The Crusaders will take on the Chiefs at 7.05pm this Saturday in Christchurch.
