Crowds gather early for Navtarang and Sargam Diwali Dhamaka Show in Nakasi

Anticipation is building in Nakasi this evening as people begin to gather ahead of the Navtarang and Sargam Diwali Dhamaka Show, set to kick off at 5pm.

The annual event, known for its lively performances and festive atmosphere, is already drawing a cheerful crowd in the lead-up to the main show.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Navin Narayan who was among the early arrivals, says he heard about the show on the radio and decided to come enjoy the entertainment.

He says he also attended last year's show and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Narayan says Diwali is a time when people get together and celebrate the goodness in the world.

Also present in the audience was Seruwaia Bari, who travelled from Wainibuku with her four-year-old son.

She says she heard about the show from her husband who works in Nakasi and brought her son to watch the show and enjoy the stage.

She adds that Diwali is a good time for them to enjoy with other people.

As the sun begins to set, the energy continues to build, with families and friends arriving in numbers, eager to celebrate the watch the show.

People can expect the 5 to 6 Masala Mix team of Senior Content Director Satya Nand, Jai and Jessica as well as high energy performances from their favourite personalities including Shresta Prashneel, Avishay, Natasha, Rashna and Reena.
