Courts Fiji will be the major sponsor for this year's South Pacific Business Development annual awards night.

This has been highlighted by Courts Head of Marketing and Digital Communications, Joni Moce during the presentation of the Courts sponsorship cheque to SPBD in Suva.

Moce says Courts Fiji is deeply involved and supportive towards the development and empowerment of women in business around the communities of Fiji and believes that proper support towards these women micro-entrepreneurs will generate income for the economy.

He says it has been a proud achievement for Courts to witness the transition and flourishment of these women micro-entrepreneurs from small-scale to medium entrepreneurs as this not only uplifts the standard of living of these businesswomen but also makes a difference in their lives and their families.

Meanwhile, the General Manager for SPBD, Elrico Munoz says this is one of the major awards nights for businesswomen whereby they will be celebrating their yearly achievements.

Munoz says the $10,000 sponsorship by Courts Fiji will help them to assist in the accommodation and awards that will be presented to the women entrepreneurs.

The 2022 SPBD annual awards night will be held at the Vodafone Arena next Thursday.
