Lusaka in Black.

The defence and prosecution lawyers have requested the Suva High Court for more time to go through the psychiatric evaluation report of Kiala Henri Lusaka who allegedly murdered his wife in Suva.

39-year-old Congo National Kiala Henri Lusaka allegedly murdered the 44-year-old Australian national in August last year at Service Street, Suva.

He had pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder.

Assistant DPP Elizabeth Rice had earlier told the court that when police had arrived at the murder scene, Lusaka allegedly tried to take his own life and was taken to CWM Hospital.

Lusaka has been further remanded in custody.

The case will be called again on the 9th of October.
