A member of the public has raised concerns about animal cruelty after an incident where a driver of a vehicle hit a dog along the Queen’s road in Nadi yesterday and instead of assisting the dog, the driver started kicking it to the side of the road.
A witness says after hitting the dog, the driver got out of the vehicle, kicked the dog to the side of the road and drove off again.
The witness further says it was sickening seeing how inhumane the suspect was.
We have sent questions to Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and the Police, and we are awaiting a response.
