Concerns raised as roadworks holding up traffic for up to 30 minutes at Rewa St roundabout

Concerns have been raised by drivers about waiting for at least 30 minutes in traffic along Milverton Road and Brown Street as unscheduled road works are being carried out.

The Fiji Roads Authority and their contractors are currently carrying out road works on the Rewa St roundabout.

However, the advisories that were given by the FRA says that works were supposed to have ended this morning at 4am.

Traffic is backed up all the way from the Rewa Street roundabout down to Raiwai while traffic on Brown Street goes all the way back to the Fiji School Of Medicine.

We have contacted the FRA who say they will be updating their advisory.
