Serious concerns are being raised about a graphic video that is now being circulated on social media where a man is allegedly seen hitting his wife with a cane knife in Nadi.

Some people have even shared photos of a severed limb.

We have asked Police whether they are looking at charging the people that are sharing these graphic images and video.

If you see anyone sharing these images and video, please report it to Police immediately.

Meanwhile, the 58-year-old husband has been charged with one count of attempted murder.

He was granted bail by the Nadi Magistrates Court on Monday.

Police say the woman was allegedly hit on the wrist with a cane knife after a heated argument.

The woman was rushed to the Nadi Hospital before she was transferred to CWM Hospital.
