The competition in the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s squad is making the selection much more difficult according to head coach Ben Gollings.

He says the new players have been training really well and have been pushing other seasoned campaigners in the team to their limits.

Gollings says with the inclusion of Uluinakau 7s captain, Ponipate Loganimasi, Army’s Anasa Qaranivalu and former national reps, Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Terio Tamani, it will help motivate other players to work harder.

He says the physicality and competition these players bring will put other players in the team in an uncomfortable position and will help them perform to their best.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles 7s will be held from the 25th to the 26th of this month.
