17 community leaders from the Lau Province will be carrying out talanoa sessions on election in their respective villages after going through the Community Elections Advocate Training of Trainers Workshop today.

While addressing the leaders from 11 Tikinas, Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says community leaders would now be leading the talaona sessions on elections and empower people to vote this year.

The Community Engagement Project in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme forms phase two of FEO’s Know Your Election Campaign which aims to prepare grass root level communities for the 2022 General Election.
