The Powerade National Torch for the 2024 Coca Cola Games is on its way to Taveuni this afternoon, where it will visit South Taveuni Secondary School, Holy Cross College, Bucalevu Secondary School, and Niusawa Secondary School tomorrow before returning to Suva.

While speaking at Narain Jetty Wharf before departing for Taveuni this afternoon, Powerade National Torch Relay Coordinator Onisimo Rokotuinasau, says the purpose of taking the torch to every school is to encourage the athletes to perform well in the Coca-Cola Games and earn medals for their schools.

Rokotuinasau says the Coca-Cola Games torch will visit 86 schools in Fiji before the Games begins in May.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held from the 2nd to the 4th of May at the HFC Bank Stadium.
