Chinese Embassy donates boat to Natawarau Youth Club as a Christmas gift

Students can now apply for Chinese Government Scholarship

The Chinese Embassy has donated a fibreglass boat to Natawarau Youth Club in Lautoka to help improve their livelihood.

The Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Qian Bo says they are proud to provide the boat to the Natawarau community as a Christmas gift and this is one of the five boats they are going to donate.

He says the Chinese Embassy will explore more opportunities to deepen cooperation in the future.

Bo adds the 2022/2023 Chinese Government Scholarship is now open for application.

He says there are 284 designated Chinese universities offering a variety of academic programs for scholarship recipients at all levels.

Bo has encouraged the youths in Natawarau Settlement to apply and study in China.
