It was also a thrilling encounter as the match had a dramatic overtime finish.
Patrick Mahomes was the toast of the side after leading a superb overtime touchdown drive to win the game.
The Chiefs staged a remarkable comeback as well after being 10-0 down in the first quarter of the game.
This was also a repeat of the 2020 Super Bowl, which the Chiefs won 31-20.
Meanwhile, the 49ers have not won a Super Bowl since 1995.
