Change in gas and fuel prices to be effective from tomorrow

Gas prices will decrease from tomorrow while the price of fuel will increase.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission says from tomorrow a 12kg gas cylinder will cost $34.88 which is decrease $1.95, a 13kg gas cylinder will cost people $37.79 which is a decrease of $211 while a 4.5kg cylinder will be sold at $13.08.

Autogas will cost people $1.65.

FCCC says unleaded will cost $2.41 per litre which is an increase of 5 cents per litre, kerosene will be $1.47 per litre which is an increase of 4 cents, people will pay $2.03 per litre for premix which is an increase of 6 cents while diesel will now cost $1.97 per litre and it increases by 8 cents litre.

They say the fuel and gas price review implemented by FCCC follows a one-month lag period, as such the July 2021 regulated prices are based on importations made in May 2021 by Fuel and LPG Companies in Fiji.
