Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry

Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry says let us make the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammed an occasion that brightens the way for us to live and realize the true values of humanity, understanding, kindness and forgiveness.

He says here in Fiji, we join our Muslim brothers and sisters in the joyous celebration of the Prophet’s birthday.

The former Prime Minister says it’s all part of the wonderful tradition we have developed of acknowledging each other’s religious festivals.

He adds let us also celebrate the wonderful values imparted by the Prophet to his followers and the world at large.

Chaudhry adds let us together build a new future for ourselves and the coming generations of Fiji.
