Carletta Yee shines in 7s rugby

MGM U18 girls captain, Carletta Yee, has made her mark on the 7s arena after she helped her Suva 2 team defeat Nadi 12-5 at Albert Park today.

Yee connected well with other players that were chosen from different schools in Suva, and is also likely to be included in the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s development team.

Suva 1 is one of the favourites in the competition after their spectacular performance today.

In other results, Lautoka defeated Nadi 10-0, Suva 1 thrashed Rewa 20-5, Suva 2 beat Nadi 12-5, Lautoka thrashed Rewa 24-0, Suva 2 beat Naitasiri 14-0, Tailevu overpowered a strong Nadi side 14-0 and Suva 1 beat Lautoka 7-0.

Naitasiri thrashed Nadi 14-0, Lautoka defeated Suva 1 19-0, Rewa beat Nadi 14-0, Suva 2 thrashed Rewa 14-0, Nadi defeated Tailevu 19-7, Suva thrashed Tailevu 24-0 and Nadi thrashed Tailevu in their second pool game 14-0.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Mini International 7s is currently underway at Albert Park.
