A car wash and a garage along Ratu Dovi Road in Laucala Beach was destroyed in a fire earlier today.
Qalo Bula, a staff of the garage says the fire started in the bulk room due to a power point short circuit.
He said he tried to put out the fire with a hose pipe however he had to run out of the garage because of the growing flames.
The Fire Authority managed to put out the fire however the bulk room, parts of the shed, a taxi and 2 rental cars were damaged.
