COPA America: Argentina through to the final after defeating Canada 2-0

Defending champions Argentina has secured their place in the final of the COPA America after defeating Canada 2-nil this afternoon.

America led 1-nil at halftime.

Julián Álvarez and Lionel Messi scored for Argentina.

This was Messi’s first goal of the tournament.

Argentina will play either Uruguay or Colombia in the final.

Uruguay will face Colombia at 12pm tomorrow.

The final on Monday at midday.
