Fiji Water Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne

Fiji Water Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne says he is pleased with the 29-14 win over Scotland and says the hard work put in by the players in the short time they had together as a team.

He says they, as a team, are also thankful with supporters turning out in numbers to cheer for the team.

The coach says there were some mistakes in the first half but that is the nature of the game.

He says it happens when players are trying to make things happen and mistakes trickle in and that is what he emphasised at half time to the team.

Over 10,000 people attended the game at the HFC Bank Stadium yesterday.

The Fiji Water Flying Fijians will next play Tonga in the Pacific Nations Cup on the 30th of August.
