The Head of the Catholic Church in Fiji Archbishop Peter Loy Chong says there is an absence of peace in today’s world which has been shattered by the coronavirus and controlled by the superpowers of globalization.

In his Palm Sunday devotion this morning, Archbishop Chong said people can choose to do some acts of peace during this holy week and make present what they celebrate on Palm Sunday.

Archbishop Chong adds people can share a meal with someone who does not have a meal, or they could offer forgiveness to someone who needs our forgiveness.

He says these are acts of peace one can perform to bring some life and joy to someone that needs peace on Palm Sunday.
