Fiji Women's Crisis Centre Coordinator Shamima Ali.

Fiji Women's Crisis Centre Coordinator, Shamima Ali says people should bring proof and report them to the relevant authorities if they have any issues or complaints against the Centre.

This is after an ex-employee, Nasik Swami who recently worked for the Centre tweeted “when you leave an oppressive environment full of nepotism, you feel good, very good”.

When contacted by fijivillage, Swami refused to make any comments on who the tweet was directed towards.

Swami also said that the tweet is personal and has nothing to do with any individual or organization.

However, there are suggestions the tweet is against the FWCC and Ali.

When questioned, Ali says they are puzzled by this because the ex-employee had left on good terms.

Ali adds they ignore people who spread these kinds of things without telling them what it is about.
