Bribery and corruption can cripple our recovery post COVID-19 - Aslam

The Deputy Commissioner of FICAC Rashmi Aslam says bribery and corruption can cripple our recovery post-COVID-19.

While speaking during the Observance of International Anti-Corruption Day at GPH, Aslam says that is why it is important to recover with integrity which is the theme of this year’s Anti-Corruption Day.

Aslam says bribery is the most prevalent form of corruption, it may seem harmless but it has far-reaching consequences.

He adds by educating the public, they expect the public to report any corrupt practices immediately.

Aslam further says their mandate is to free Fiji of corruption in all circumstances and they will not shy away from their responsibilities.

FICAC has also launched its nationwide Anti-Bribery Campaign.
