Vodafone Flying Fijians utility, Levani Botia will primarily be utilised in the midfield during the Pacific Nations Cup.
While speaking to fijivillage, coach Vern Cotter says if the need arises due to injuries or yellow card situations, Botia will be the likely option at flanker.
Botia has played many games for La Rochelle in the midfield and flanker’s position and recently put on an impressive performance at centre for the Barbarians against England.
After missing out on selection for the first PNC game, Botia is expected to get a run-on this weekend.
The Flying Fijians will face Australia A at 3.30pm this Saturday in Lautoka.
