Botia scores a try, helps La Rochelle beat Toulon 27-17 in Top 14 clash

Fiji Water Flying Fijians utility Levani Botia scored a try for his La Rochelle side to help them beat Toulon 27-17 in their Top 14 clash this morning.

Botia started at number 7 and scored the try in the 42nd minute to give La Rochelle a 20-10 lead heading into halftime.

Flying Fijians winger Jiuta Wainiqolo also scored a converted try for Toulon in the 50th minute.

Wainiqolo started on the right wing with former Flying Fijians utility back Setareki Tuicuvu starting on the left wing for Toulon as well.

Tuicuvu later received a yellow card in the 58th minute after a dangerous tackle.

Meanwhile, in other Top 14 matches over the weekend, Toulouse beat Racing 92 32-12, Lyon defeated Pau 38-20, Oyonnax overcame Castres 22-19, Bordeaux defeated Bayonne 34-15, Perpignan defeated Montpellier 25-20 and Clermont beat Stade Francais 41-18.
