Boletakanakadavu and Nacoka win Suva Zone 1 blue ribbon events

Blue ribbon event winners: Kesaia Boletanakadavu of MGM and Alifereti Nacoka of John Wesley College

MGM High School's Kesaia Boletakanakadavu has successfully defended her Coca-Cola Suva Zone 1 senior girls 100 metres title.

Boletakanakadavu clocked a time of 11.53 seconds on her way to victory while MGM's Adi Asenaca Tuipelahaki came in second with a time of 12.97 seconds while Ravaela Bulileka of RSMS was third with a time of 13.01 seconds.

Boletakanakadavu won the blue ribbon event at the Coca-Cola Games last year with a time of 12.40 seconds.

Meanwhile, John Wesley College's Alifereti Nacoka has won this year's Coca-Cola Suva Zone 1 boys' division blue ribbon event with a time of 11.12 seconds ahead of Billy Jockey of LDS who came second with a time of 11.15 seconds while Nasinu Secondary School's Ratu Penaia Driu came in third with a time of 11.40 seconds.
