If you have the will and you believe you have what it takes to achieve greater things, do not hesitate to take the first step.

These were the words of Baalzerium Enterprises founder Semesa Bogitini after receiving his certificate of recognition for participating in the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise training.

Baalzerium Enterprises is a fish-selling company and Bogitini has been running it for the past 10 years.

He says he was motivated to start up his business after seeing how our fellow Indo-Fijians are being successful with how they run their businesses and most i-Taukeis would just be sitting back and staring at the Indo-Fijians do their thing.

Bogitini says seeing this really had him thinking long and hard knowing the capabilities that we Fijians have and that really boosted his confidence in starting up his business.

He also believes that his trust in God was one of the main factors that he is still able to be running his business today and he knows that God has always been his provider whenever he is faced with some difficulties.

Bogitini says these difficulties that he faced were also something that helps him keep on moving forward.

The 39-year-old says participating in the FRCS-MSME training program has been an eye-opener for him as his knowledge of running a business was broadened and also he learned a lot of things that he did not know over the past years that he has been running his business.

100 participants were awarded certificates of recognition for participating in the FRCS-MSME training program.
